The WAR- a new documentary by filmaker Ken Burns previews on WXEL TV this Sunday. It is a 7 part series beginning Sep 23 at 8am. Irwin Stovroff, now of Boca Raton, was a Bombardier in the 44th Bomb Group in WWII. He was shot down on his 35th mission, into German lines. While parachuting down, he threw away his dog tags, which would have revealed he was Jewish. The rest of this amazing story of coincidences and fate, you will have to hear to believe.
